Welcome to DragonLadyDesigns: Textile Art and Craft from Orkney
I am based in the beautiful Orkney Islands, whose landscape and scenery, history and heritage inspire much of my work.
I particularly like working out my own designs for pictures
and wall-hangings, and the Celtic, Pictish and Viking heritage of Scotland
in general and Orkney in particular regularly feature in my work.
(The Maes Howe Dragon worked in crewel wool on linen)

I have exhibited at the Strond Gallery in St. Mary's, Holm, the Pier Arts Centre, Stromness, and the Waterfront Gallery, also in Stromness.
My work is also available at The Tomb of the Eagles visitor centre and as I am a proud member of Orkney Arts and Crafts, my work is also available at their fairs, shows and Annual Exhibition and Sale.
